It's Been a Long Time....

With all of the devastation in Haiti, I feel as though it is my duty as a young writer to use my talents to uplift at this time. I really don't know what to say, my heart is in pain and my pockets are giving. What else can I do? I pray for Haiti and the world and have stopped asking God why he does these things. I trust and believe that these situations are meant to bring out the best, and sadly the worst in all of us. True character is built and reviled in times of despair.

I want to commend many like Matt Sunday, Star McRae, and Nate Erickson who started irelief.info to give the public more information on how they could help. I also wanna give my love to a good man who's love for his country of Haiti knows no boundaries, Wyclef Jean. Many of you know I am a representer of th Wyclef Warriors, which is a movement of music and social change long before the earthquake. I pray for him and all of the people who flew to Haiti. God, give them strength as there hand sig through miles of broken homes and lives, and please give them a sweeter scent than the smell of decaying bodies. Please wrap your arms of protection around the Nation and its people.
