Steve Harvey Can Teach us Something....

As a sat and watched this video with Donnie McClurkin interviewing Steve Harvey I almost cried. My mother took me to church as a child but she always told me to "Know God for yourself, not how the preacher and people tell you, but for yourself." When she saw people professing to be so holy or morally perfect, chastise someone for singing secular music or another profession that they didnt approve of she would ask "Do you work for a Christan company?" Meaning all of those critizing the "foul mouthed Emcee" coming into church, look at your place of employment is that company Christian based?

When I watch Steve Harvey break down, I understand the pain. My prayer is that the church would truly learn to love people for who they are. They should see that judging people for what they do is the reason so many people refuse to go to church anymore. God is the only and FINAL judgment.

WHAT IS WRONG MY PEOPLE? Vol. 1

My mom sends me this video that her co-woker showed her last week. I can't believe what I saw when i open it up. A little girl no more than 5 swearing like she was a 44 year old prostitute. The way she says the words (that I'm sure she can't even spell) makes you think that she has been cussing all of her short life. Young brothers and sisters when you tell your kid to "shut the fuck up" or "you gettin on my goddamn nerves dumbass" this is what happens.

This girls future is messed up, how can she be taught in school? This ain't cute now and it's not gonna be cute when she turns 18 and gets her ass slapped by a man or stabbed. I don't know WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY PEOPLE!

The Moon is Hurt

I had a dream last night which consisted of Michael Jackson, a spree for kids at a toy store, a weeding reception but none of those meant anything. I dreamt that the sky was changing colors and as I stood in a group of people in the middle of San Francisco I saw the moon. The moon had broken into two uneven pieces. The smaller piece was crumbling into even smaller pieces and floating into space.

People weren't panicking but they were angry. Angry at the powers that be, angry at NASA. In the crowd I heard "They did it", "Yep, they killed us all", "What the hell would make them bomb the moon?" A lady from my church and my mother appeared and began to tell people about the goodness of the Lord and the promise of Heaven. I couldn't believe it but i kept saying "I knew it" then I got a warm feeling that everything was going to be alright.

The sky never stopped changing colors and I knew the the end of the world was eminent. I awoke, wondering why would NASA bomb the moon. It's a known fact that the moon has saved the earth from devastating asteroids. Why do we bite the hand that feeds us, hurt the ones who love us the most? I pray that this was just a dream.
